What to see in Chhattisgarh

There are three seasons in Chattisgarh as with much of India,

Summer - From April to June. It can be very uncomfortably hot, with the mercury hitting high 40's. It is best to take light and summery clothes and take precautions against heat stroke and dehydration.

Monsoon - From middle/late June to October. Its is a wonderful time to visit. The rains provide a welcome respite from the summer heat and wash the whole state with green and the waterfalls are at their best.

Winter - From November to January. It is the a good time to visit, with lower temperature and the verdant greenery and raging waterfalls left by the monsoons just ensure you keep your woolens on.
